PRINCIPLES OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT

  1.
  2. Worldcon exists for the enjoyment and enrichment of the fannish community around

the world.

  1. Worldcon is a global multi-cultural event where everyone should feel welcome, safe,

comfortable and free to participate.

  1. ConKigali aims to build and interact with a global community of SF&F creatives, fans,

volunteers and staff who should feel comfortable working together.

In striking a balance between the global SF & F community, constitution of the World Science Fiction

Society, the principles of the Worldcon convention, the cultures and constitution of the host community,

ConKigali has established this code of conduct to ensure that the behavior of any one person, or group,

matches the expectations of all stakeholders. All our engagements and communications thrive at the

attainment of the objective of this in consideration of the multi-cultural event Worldcon is with people

coming from all over the world.
