Is a Nigerian speculative fiction writer, editor, publisher and con runner. His works have won the Nebula, Locus, Otherwise, Nommo, British & World Fantasy awards and been a finalist in the Hugo, Sturgeon & NAACP Image awards. He founded and edits the line of Year’s Best African Speculative Fiction anthologies, co-edited the Africa Risen and Dominion anthologies amongst others, and coined the genre label, Afropantheology. He’s a member of the executive board of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association where he serves as a director at large and the International Association for the Fantastic in The Arts, where he serves as the Virtual Conference Coordinator.
